Strategic Property Partners (“SPP”) is a joint venture between Cascade Investment LLC, and Jeff Vinik. The firm was formed to create a visionary new commercial real estate development platform focused on world-class execution, innovation, and creating high quality and experiential places. SPP’s first project, Water Street Tampa, is being developed on over 50 acres of land the company owns and controls in downtown Tampa along the waterfront. The phased Water Street Tampa development project intends to revitalize the currently underutilized tract of land and create an urban, mixed-use waterfront district consisting of approximately 9 million square feet of new commercial, residential, hospitality, cultural, entertainment, education, and retail uses, totaling over $3 billion in private investment from SPP. Integrating principles of walkability, sustainability, connectivity, design quality, and wellness, SPP intends to create, own and operate a new world-class neighborhood in in Tampa, while also elevating the City’s national prominence. SPP is a long-term investor and has incredibly strong financial resources, making Water Street Tampa one of the most secure and well-capitalized real estate development projects in the country.


The Senior Recruiter will report to the SVP, Director of Administration and will oversee recruiting activities for all position levels in the organization. The Senior Recruiter will source talent through cultivated relationships, networking, referrals, social media, and other sources. This position will frequently act as the face of our organization, curator of our culture, and ambassador of our employment brand.
•  Serve as an experienced and trusted consultant to senior executives determining their hiring needs.
•  Provide high touch, proactive communication to both hiring managers and candidates to clearly understand and relate the needs of the roles and determine the best fit, both skillfully and culturally.
•  Advocate for a diverse, innovative, creative, compassionate, authentic workplace culture.
•  Utilize best practices and tools for identifying and sourcing hard to find top talent.
•  Meet hiring targets for a variety of complex positions.
  Continuously research new tools and ways to increase productivity and create efficiency.
•  Be a strong advocate for the vision and mission of the organization and act as a talent management both in the greater Tampa Bay area and nationally.
•  Coordinate and schedule interviews and travel.
•  Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred
•  7+ years progressive corporate recruitment experience or a combination of corporate and agency experience
•  Strong experience sourcing difficult to find positions and the ability to effectively deliver on full life cycle recruiting and a positive candidate experience
•  Strong abilities and experience communicating and consulting directly with hiring managers at all levels
•  Technically savvy (a MUST)
•  Well-versed in recruitment marketing, recruitment technologies, systems and processes
•  Excellent abilities to build rapport
•  Well-organized, ability to meet deadlines, and uphold a high level of integrity and work ethic
•  Sincere and positive outlook and interest in the work ~ making awesome connections!
